I love my country

Huh.. i just can't imagine for once.. that i had stay awake the whole night simply for the reason to know what is going to happen to this country. I waited for the polling result until Pak Lah made the announcement - BN had won with simple majority.

Yes, they did. And yes BN will rule again BUT this time around they won't be running this country like 'mak bapak dia punya'!!

This morning, a Chinese fella smiled when he saw me giggling at the news of BN defeat in Petaling Jaya. I looked up and said to him, "They deserved to lose". At the very moment, i have lost all the prejudice that was always within me every time i looked at non-Malays. I sense the greatest feeling of muhibbah crawling inside me slowly.

PKR and PAS took over from BN in Shah Alam. DAP was given the win by the rakyat in Subang and PKR got their share of it in Kelana Jaya. These are the places where my life revolves. .

I had given my mandate to those i think could bring changes to this country. I disregard their ethnicity. I don't care if they do not embrace Islam. I couldn't be bothered if their skins colours are not the same as mine. But truly, we are one. We are Malaysians. And I believe with all my heart that we can make this country a better place.

Whatever it is, let us all join hands and pray to God that the new Malaysia will be better. There are more people of younger generation in the Parliament now.. Khairy J, Nurul Izzah, Mukhriz M, Tian Chua, Nasharuddin, Mohd Azmin etc. means the voice of the young will be heard. I am damn sure that they wanted(have) to make Malaysia a better place for everybody; now that everybody is eyeing every single moves that they make. To move forward is to leave behind the old agendas.

Those old chickens can now take their beliefs and greediness down the drain and get their hands off the duit rakyat. You all semua dah kaya dan bertambah kaya. Dah cukup. Let the rakyat be given the equal opportunity. Let the rakyat gain something out of the rezeki of this country. Let us, the people of younger generation show you how it is to be done.

And the country shall now have the undying love (rightfully) from its citizens.. as how it should be.

It is now time for me to love this country again.
