Quite Unexpected

Things are going on as usual except for the petrol price hike which had came unexpectedly for some of us. A friend of mine, a petrol station operator, hinted that the government will increase the petrol price. Huh.. true indeed. But who would expect the increase to be that high?! Sigh..
The whole day, petrol price is the only thing people are talking about. More complaints rather than praises were heard, almost everywhere. I have not met personally neither heard even a single person who support the move to increase petrol price, yet someone said that a few 'beruk' (plural) on tv had said something to the extend that the government had made a wise move in deciding to increase it. Yeah, of course. MSM, we watch them when there's nothing else on TV. Some quarters seems to think that its unavoidable. I beg to differ. Reasons? None, just yet. But who needs reasons nowadays to oppose what others think is right. Ironic, huh..
One thing I am glad of, is that I had travelled out of town on each weekends, for the last couple of weeks; Cameron Highland and Seremban. Luckily, they choose to change the petrol price after the end of the school holidays. Nonetheless, it's timely that I should opt for something that would help ease this burden of higher fuel expenses. Maybe, I might consider using NGV. In the long run, without using the calculator, I know I can save quite a bit.. Of course, we pay more to install it but in the long run?

Well, my fellow Malaysian, I wanted to believe that there is always something good installed for us if we look beyond what is obvious. But I am shortsighted. So, what to do!?
